Steve Guest has over twenty-five years of experience in computer forensics, working full time in that field since 1998, initially as the head of the Hi-tec Crime unit for North Yorkshire Police. In 2008 he joined Keith Borer Consultants, where he is a senior consultant in the field of Digital Forensics, specialising in PC and Mac based computers.
Mr Guest has a very wide range of experience in criminal and corporate investigations and has extensive Court experience, reporting on behalf of both the prosecution and the defence.
He holds a BSc(Hons) degree and is a Forensic Computer Examiner certified by the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (CFCE). He is a Life Member of the International Association of Computer Investigative Specialists (IACIS) and is a former Board member and Chairman of that Association.
Over the years Steve Guest has taught in the field of Digital Forensics for Corporate, International and Voluntary organisations in the UK, the US, Germany, Serbia and South Korea.
In his spare time he likes tackling inadvisably large D.I.Y projects, restoring furniture and fixing things that he is told (sometimes correctly) are beyond repair.
