Michael Prime

Michael Prime is an approachable and knowledgeable Road Traffic Incident Investigator who joined Keith Borer Consultants in 2016. He has over 25 years' experience of the investigation of serious and fatal road traffic collisions involving many different types of vehicles.  He has prepared a great number of reconstruction reports in relation to such incidents and has regularly given evidence as an expert witness in Coroners’, Magistrates’, Crown and Civil courts.

Mr Prime is a keen motorcyclist having been riding for over 35 years and has a particular interest in motorcycle collisions. He is trained to Police advanced level in cars and motorcycles.

He holds a City & Guilds Certificate in Collision Investigation and a Certificate of Higher Education (De Montfort University) in Road Collision Investigation. He has been awarded a Licentiateship in Traffic Accident Investigation by the City & Guilds Institute (LCGI) and is a Member of the Institute of Traffic Accident Investigators (MITAI).

Recent feedback from Instructing Counsel highlighted that "Mr Prime was very good at court in explaining concepts to the jury and presenting his evidence."
