In August 2016, KBC renewed its accreditation to ISO17025. This was a particularly meaningful assessment as it marks the beginning of a new four year assessment cycle and confirms KBC’s continuing commitment to international quality standards after the acquisition by Cellmark. The assessment by UKAS included an extension to scope into forensic computing and also confirmed there is an effective separation policy between the activities of KBC and Cellmark which assures the independence of case workers in each trading unit.
